Shaanxi Solid-State laser and Application Engineering Technology Research Center
“13115”science and technology innovation project is proposed by Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Government combined with actual conditions in Shaanxi Province, in order to implement the national innovative strategy of the Party Central Committee. It objectives include organizing 30 key science and technique projects, building 100 engineering technology research centers, support 100 major Important scientific and technological industrialization projects, and building 50 Science and technology industry parks in “Eleventh Five-year Plan”.
Shaanxi Solid-State laser and Application Engineering Technology Research Center is the first “13115” research centre founded by Shaanxi government in 2007. It is co-build by a laser enterprise in Northwest University. The research centre is aims to produce varies high power all-solid Laser device with core independent intellectual properties and technical criteria. Its product will break long term technique monopoly of Europe and the United States and other countries, and will become one of important talent training base of all-solid high power laser, laser micro-nano-technique, laser medicine device, laser imaging, laser military application, and laser archaeology.
