As the developments of the technology of the nonlinear optics and laser move forward, the opto-electronic technology has made advanced progress. As a next frontier of the optoelectronics in the 21st century, Terahertz Optoelectronic Technology is a hot research topic in the world. The terahertz-wave band, a large portion of electromagnetic spectrum lying between the far-infrared and microwave region, is of great value in scientific research but remain unexplored compared to the well-developed science and technology in optical and microwave frequencies. Since the emission, reflectance and transmitted spectra of the material in the terahertz band involve plenty of physical and chemical information and terahertz waves have the distinctive advantages of low energy and high penetrability, the terahertz technology has been applied to a variety of basic and applied research.
