Research Fields:
1. Synthesis and formation mechanism of carbon nanotubes.
2. Properties of composites based on carbon nanotubes.
3. Synthesis and photoelectric properties of graphene.
4. Design and fabrication of supercapacitor electrode materials.
As the PI (Principal Investigator), Doc. LI Weilong presently takes charge of several projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 11304249), Doctoral fund of Ministry of Education (No. 20126101120029), the Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Education Committee (12JK0990) and the Xi’an Industrial Technology Innovation Project-technology transfer promoting program (No. CX12182-4). As the main member, he took part in several projects, such as Program 973,National Natural Science Foundation of China, and so on. Up to now, he has published over 10 papers embodied by SCI as the first author or main author and 2 national invention patents.
